MEET CAROLYNE

As a Certified Holistic Pet Health Coach, and a devoted Pet Lover, I am passionate about animals and seeing them being healthy, happy and loved.  I have volunteered with Animal Rescues and from a young age, I have always cared for stray animals, feeding them and nurturing them, even taking them in secretly in our garage to care for them with the hope of not being caught by my parents.

And my passion for holistic, integrative health started maybe around 7-8 years ago, realizing that it wasn’t normal that so many people were getting sicker at much younger ages and I didn’t want to be one of them. So, I just started educating myself on different ways to improve my health more naturally and holistically and reducing mine and Nigel’s exposure to toxic and unhealthy things. I realized that many of those holistic approaches can be used for animals and completely changed Nigel’s diet to real food, removed all chemicals and toxins from his life and started only use natural remedies, herbals, supplements etc. If it is not good for me, it is not good for him.

Prevention is a simpler route to take compared to the cure.

As a Certified Pet Health Coach, specializing in cats and dogs,  I am dedicated to providing thoughtful guidance, education and support for every pet I work with.  By making simple changes, you can improve your pet’s overall health and give them the quality of life that they deserve. Be proactive and start implementing preventative measures to ensure your pet’s health has the best outcome.

MEET NIGEL

I am an 11 year old Lab/Husky mix, and a Certified Holistic Dog . I have been with my Mom since she fostered me at the age of 2 months. I was very healthy until the age of 5 when I tore my right CCL. After, a lot of pressure from the vets to get surgery, we opted to do a TPLO surgery that went wrong and had complications including the drill bit breaking into my bone and being left there. The recovery did not go as planned, after having infections and other things which resulted in having a second surgery with a different vet to remove the implant, after which is when the recovery finally started. Throughout all this experience, I was anesthetized multiple times, took strong meds and that took a toll on my body and developed intense allergies and sensitivities. About 6 months later, I blew the other knee. This time my Mom said: NO NO. We are going to handle this differently, no surgery this time. We found a great acupuncturist vet, started regular treatments with her, started natural supplementation and herbs and did a custom-made brace. After about a year, the brace came out and I was happy to feel good again. All the whilst, we also worked on several changes to detoxify my system and rebuild my immune system to finally get rid of my allergies while continuing with prevention with my acupuncturist.

My hope is that every pet can get the opportunity to discover the many safer benefits of using a more holistic approach and achieve overall wellbeing
